These terms apply to your use of handybento.com (“Handy Bento”, “the site”, “we”, “us”), which is operated by HIDYN LOGIC PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
Handy Bento offers free online tools, such as an image compressor, a QR code generator, a word counter and a date calculator, together with guides that explain the topics around them. The tools run in your own web browser. You do not need an account, and we do not charge for using them.
We may change, add or remove tools and pages, or stop offering the site, at any time and without notice.
Provided as is
The site, its tools and its guides are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability or non-infringement. We work hard to make the tools correct, but we do not guarantee that any result, calculation, conversion, count or piece of information is accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose.
Check results that matter
You are responsible for how you use the tools and their results. Before relying on a result for anything important, check it independently. In particular:
- Date calculations used for legal, contractual, tax, visa, medical or financial deadlines must be checked against the rules that apply to you, which may count days differently or exclude holidays.
- Keep your original files. Compressed or resized images are new copies, and a lost original cannot be recovered from them.
- Test a QR code with more than one device before printing or publishing it.
- Word and character counts can differ slightly between tools; if a limit is strict, confirm with the system that enforces it.
The guides on this site are general information, not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HIDYN LOGIC PTE. LTD. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, opportunity or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the site is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to zero, or, where the law does not allow that, to the lowest amount the law permits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for any lawful personal or business purpose. You agree not to:
- use the tools to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or is intended to deceive, for example QR codes that lead to phishing or malware;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems that host it;
- scrape or copy the site in bulk, or reproduce it as your own service;
- interfere with or generate fraudulent views of or clicks on advertisements.
Your content
Files and text you use with our tools are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us, so we claim no rights in them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and modify any content you process, and the output you create is yours to use.
Our content and icons
The site's design, text, guides, graphics and code, including the Handy Bento name and logo, are owned by HIDYN LOGIC PTE. LTD. or used with permission. The interface icons are drawn by us. You may link to any page and quote short passages with attribution, but you may not copy substantial parts of the site without our written permission. Images and material from others that appear in our guides are credited where they are used and remain subject to their own licences.
Advertising and third-party links
The site is funded by advertising and may show ads served by third-party advertising networks. Those parties may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of other websites we link to, and a link or ad does not mean we endorse the site or product behind it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless the law of your country of residence gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
